Nigel Bocanegra

Nigel Bocanegra is a relationship-driven association leader with more than six years of experience in membership engagement, event strategy, and organizational leadership. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of the California Farm Labor Contractor Association, where he led strategic planning, advocacy efforts, and revenue growth while serving as the primary liaison to the Board, members, and external stakeholders.

 

Earlier in his career, Nigel managed membership services, and national conferences for the National Council of Agricultural Employers, overseeing large-scale events, member communications, and recruitment initiatives. He is recognized for his ability to build strong member communities, execute high-impact events, and align programming with organizational goals.

 

Nigel holds a BA in International Relations from California State University, Chico and brings a strategic, operations-focused approach to enhancing member experience and engagement.
