WHO WE ARE

The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) is a non-profit organization committed to providing support to its members, allowing affiliated dentists to focus on patients, expand access to quality dental care and improve the oral health of their communities. The ADSO represents Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) before the public, policymakers and the media.

WHAT WE DO

The ADSO supports member companies and their teams through research, education and advocacy; enabling them to foster innovation, collaboration and a vibrant market where DSO-supported dentists can provide quality oral health care to their patients and those in the underserved communities.

WHO WE SUPPORT

The ADSO supports DSOs who in turn provide business and operational services to dentists and dental practices so that they can focus on patient care and community outreach. We help all teams within a DSO including executives, clinicians, marketing/communications, IT, and operations.

DSO Membership

Dental Support Organizations or Group Practices with multiple locations are encouraged to apply for membership. Membership fees and benefits are based on the member company’s revenue and calculated using a progressive marginal rate. Reduced fee memberships are available for International and Non-profit DSOs. Prospective members can see their membership fee estimate by completing and application.

DSO members are divided into tiers based company size. DSOs that wish to take advantage of the benefits of a higher tier of membership may do so by paying a membership fee based on the level of revenue for the range in that tier. To learn more about joining at a higher tier, contact: membership@theadso.org.

Government Relations

ADSO advocates collectively at the state and federal levels in a manner that represents the interests of all its members. We understand the critical role that oral health has on overall health, and how the DSO model is uniquely positioned to enhance access to care.

Using the association’s legislative and regulatory policies and positions, ADSO advocates before elected officials and regulatory agencies. The association serves as a primary resource to elected officials and policy leaders on issues of importance to Dental Support Organizations. ADSO members actively participate in advocacy efforts to bring about appropriate policy and legislation. The ADSO regulatory and legislative agenda is developed through solicited input from the full membership. The strategic plan is approved each year and reflects the mission and values of the organization.
